Erica has over 30 years of professional experience. She has spent the majority of her career advising clients on state and local tax issues. She has represented Kentucky and multi-national companies in tax controversies before the Kentucky Department of Revenue, Kentucky Board of Tax Appeals, and the state and federal courts of the Commonwealth. Through her advice and advocacy, Erica has saved her clients millions of dollars in Kentucky taxes. Erica has experience in a wide range of industries, including construction, equine, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, and is a prolific speaker and author on state and local tax topics. She was named 2019 State Tax Author of the Year – Direct Taxes by Bloomberg Tax and Accounting.
Christy Woodward, CPA
Tax Associate Director, Dean Dorton Allen Ford, PLLC
Christy has more than 18 years of experience in public accounting and eight years of experience in private industry in various financial roles including Chief Financial Officer. Christy specializes in high net worth individuals and closely held businesses in a variety of industries on tax, financial planning, and general business consulting matters. She has experience in multistate taxation, business combinations, and mergers. Christy is a graduate of Villanova University and has a Masters in Taxation from Bentley College, Waltham Massachusetts.
